Since last August 2022, Karen and I have been fostering for Cat and Kitten Rescue, a fabulous charity based in Borehamwood. We started by accident, initially offering to help out our local vet nurses: it was only then that we realised how much was missing from our lives!

We have a dedicated room for our fosters so that we can keep them separate from our own kitties, Peanut, Crumble and Strudel. It’s not always been easy, but we knew that would be the case. We are becoming fairly proficient kitten midwives and wet nurses! But, of course, with the joy comes lots of heartache.
